1. Loader Operator-Groesbeck

6. Survey Crew Chief

Seeking a full time Survey Crew Chief to join us in several upcoming projects. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is responsible, highly dependable, and has the ability to work with limited supervision. Job Description Perform survey activities such as: leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, construction layout, as-built surveys, boundary surveys, profile and cross section surveys. Perform physical tasks such as: line clearing, pounding stakes, setting monuments, and locating critical underground objects. Record field notes legibly and accurately while following Big Creek established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Communicate effectively with crew members and other survey staff using surveying terminology. Ensure product quality and Big Creek reputation by following the Big Creek Product Quality Manual. Primary Responsibilities Communicate timely and accurately with Survey Manager on a daily basis to establish workload and its associated needs; Perform construction layout work competently and accurately as specified by Survey Manager; Construction Staking: Offsets, Stakes; Analyze construction drawings and other documentation as needed to complete surveys; Oversee and direct the daily activities, providing training in regards to surveying practices and procedures; Must meet expectations for attendance and punctuality. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret construction plans; Proficiency in the Agtek set up and operate of robotic total stations; Create three dimensional models using Topcon Office, Magnet, Carlson, GPS Receivers and Auto Levels; A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; Ability to work independently Physical Requirements Perform work duties in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements; Walk long distances, work long hours, and travel out of town for work when necessary; Ability to carry survey instruments and equipment; Lift 50 pounds. 12. Class A Truck Driver

Responsible of operating a straight truck or tractor trailer equipment and maintain properly to transport material to designated location in a timely manner. 13. Ready Mix Drivers

BC Materials is seeking Ready Mix Drivers. - Previous truck driving experience - Possess and maintain a valid commercial driver’s license, medical card and clean driving record. Seeking 5 laborers for the Dallas, Kaufman, Terrell, Canton, Kemp, Wills Point Area. Responsible to safely perform any combination of following duties on construction projects usually transferring from one task to another. Measures distance from grade stakes, drives stakes & stretches tight line. Bolts, nails, aligns and blocks up under forms. Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications. Levels earth using pick or shovel. Finishes freshly poured cement or concrete using float, trowel or screed. Performs flagging duties as needed.
